Empowerment Program
The "Tamkeen Program" aims to enrich distinguished Arab students pursuing advanced degrees in the sciences. Organized by the Pioneers of Science and Technology Association for the eighth consecutive year, the program enables participants to develop soft skills , which enable them to gain a competitive advantage and overcome the obstacles and challenges faced by Arab students pursuing advanced degrees. On the social level, our vision for the Tamkeen Program is to build a community of scientists in which young researchers at the beginning of their careers can communicate and collaborate with the aim of enhancing the status of scientific research in Arab society.
The program lasts for three months, and consists of eight combined sessions (in-person and via Zoom) beginning in May. The workshops are diverse and include workshops on scientific research presentation methods, self-marketing, time and task management, preparing for job interviews, how to establish a startup, and other workshops that aim to develop capabilities and support Arab students in their academic and professional lives.
The program is free and is designed to welcome a limited number of undergraduate and graduate students from various universities across the country in science and technology subjects.
